Residential Pest Control in Blackwater
Most of our Blackwater work is residential. The housing stock here is a mix of 1970s block homes, newer stucco builds and a handful of manufactured homes on the outskirts. Each one has a different pest profile. Block homes have weep holes that need sealing. Newer stucco homes have tighter envelopes but still get ants and scorpions through the garage. Manufactured homes have skirting gaps that let rodents and wildlife underneath. We adjust the treatment to the house, not the other way around.
- Quarterly perimeter and interior treatment โ Our recurring plan treats the exterior perimeter, the garage, the kitchen and the bathrooms every quarter. Between visits, if a pest shows up, we come back at no charge. Most Blackwater homeowners stay on this plan because it keeps the scorpions and the ants from ever getting established.
- Rodent exclusion and attic sealing โ We seal the roof line, the dryer vent and the plumbing penetrations with copper mesh and steel wool, then set snap traps and bait stations in the attic. This is the permanent fix for the roof rats that plague Blackwater's mature neighborhoods. The exclusion work is warrantied for one year.
- Termite inspection and treatment โ We inspect the fence line, the wood-to-ground contact and the slab edge with termite detection devices and thermal imaging cameras. If we find activity, we treat with liquid termiticides or bait stations. If we do not, you get a clean report and a monitoring plan.
- Bed bug and cockroach treatment โ For bed bugs, we treat the whole room with heat, insecticide and vacuum units, then follow up at 14 days. For cockroaches, we use gel bait and bait stations, then seal the cracks behind the cabinets. Both services are discreet and we do not advertise what we are treating.
