Residential pest control in Cottonwood
Most of our Cottonwood work is residential. We treat single-family homes, duplexes, rental cabins, and the occasional manufactured home. The housing stock here ranges from historic pier-and-beam homes near Old Town to newer stucco builds out toward the airport. Each one has its own pest profile. We tailor the treatment to your house, not a template. If you have kids or pets, we will walk you through the products we use and the re-entry time. Our goal is to solve the problem and keep it solved.
- Quarterly general pest control โ Our quarterly plan covers ants, spiders, scorpions, crickets, and earwigs. We treat the exterior perimeter, the garage, and the crawlspace access points. Most Cottonwood homes stay clear year-round on this schedule. We use bait stations and glue boards inside, and a residual insecticide sprayer outside.
- Rodent exclusion and trapping โ We set snap traps and glue boards in the attic and garage, then seal entry points with copper mesh, steel wool, and sealants. Older homes near Old Town often need vent screen repairs. We replace damaged screens with rodent-proof hardware so the problem does not come back.
- Termite inspections and treatment โ We inspect the crawlspace with thermal imaging cameras and termite detection devices. If we find active termites, we treat with liquid termiticides or bait systems. We also install monitoring stations around the perimeter. Cottonwood homes near the Verde River need this more than most.
- Scorpion and spider control โ We treat the exterior perimeter, the weep screed, and the garage corners with residual insecticide. We place glue boards inside to catch scorpions and spiders that get past the barrier. We also seal gaps around doors and utility penetrations with caulk and sealants.
