Residential pest control in Mountainaire
Most of our Mountainaire work is residential. The housing here is a mix of full-time homes, weekend cabins and short-term rentals, and each one has a different pest profile. Full-time homes deal with year-round ant and rodent pressure. Cabins that sit empty for months often have wildlife move in while nobody is around. Rentals see bed bugs and cockroaches from guest turnover. We build the treatment around how you actually use the property, not a generic schedule. If you are not on site full-time, we send photo documentation after every visit so you can see what we found and what we did.
- Year-round perimeter and interior treatment โ We treat the exterior foundation line, door thresholds, window frames and crawlspace vents, then handle the interior entry points. For Mountainaire homes, this usually means a quarterly schedule, though forest-edge properties often need more frequent visits. We adjust based on what we are actually finding.
- Rodent and wildlife exclusion โ We seal gaps around pipes, vents, doors and foundation lines with exclusion mesh, copper mesh and steel wool. This is the work that keeps pack rats, deer mice, squirrels and bats out of your Mountainaire home for good. We also clean up droppings and soiled insulation after removal.
- Termite inspection and treatment โ We inspect the crawlspace, foundation and wood framing with termite detection devices and thermal imaging cameras. If we find activity, we treat the soil and set bait stations. Mountainaire cabins are especially vulnerable because of the older wood construction and the forest soil.
- Seasonal mosquito and wasp control โ Summer in Mountainaire means mosquitoes and wasps. We treat the resting areas on the shady side of the house, use larvicides where water collects, and remove wasp nests from eaves and outbuildings. We schedule these treatments around the season so you are covered when the pests are active.
